01 November 2025, was the commencement date of the new Aged Care Act in Australia introducing a new regulatory framework overseen by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. It also marks the transition to the Support at Home program, which replaced the Home Care Packages and Short-Term Restorative Care programs, as detailed in the Support at Home transition activities.
